(Lyrics)

So lucky in my life, you love me as I am
And so, just as a man I ask no more than this
My woman and my life, my lover and my friend
My beginning and my end
You're my everything

I love you and know you know it
You show it by just being as you are

So lucky in my life you make it all worthwhile
Always find a smile when things go wrong

I'm lucky, yes I'm lucky
So lucky, you're the woman in my life

Cause I'm lucky, yes !'m lucky
So lucky, you're the woman in my life

Homburg - Procol Harum (1967) live (with lyrics)

(Lyrics)

Your multilingual businessfriend
Has packed her bags and fled
Leaving only ashfilled ashtrays
And the lipsticked unmade bed
The mirrors on reflection
Has climbed back upon the wall
For the floor she found descended
And the ceiling was too tall
Your trousers cuffs are dirty
And your shoes are laced up wrong
You´d better take off your homburg,
Cause your overcoat is too long
The town clock in the market square
Stands waiting for the hour
When it´s hands they both turn backwards
And on meeting will devour
Both themselves and also any fool
Who dares to tell the time
And the sun and moon will shudder
And the signpost cease tosign
Your trousers cuffs are dirty
And your shoes are laced up wrong
You´d better take off your homburg,
Cause your overcoat is too long
Your trousers cuffs are dirty
And your shoes are laced up wrong
You´d better take off your homburg,
Cause your overcoat is too long
Ah, your trousers cuffs are dirty
And your shoes are laced up wrong
You´d better take off your homburg,
Cause your overcoat is too long.....

A whiter shade of pale - Procol Harum (live) with lyrics

(Lyrics)

We skipped the light fandango
Turned cartwheels 'cross the floor
I was feeling kinda seasick
But the crowd called out for more
The room was humming harder
As the ceiling flew away
When we called out for another drink
The waiter brought a tray
And so it was that later
As the miller told his tale
That her face, at first just ghostly,
Turned a whiter shade of pale
She said, 'there is no reason
And the truth is plain to see.'
But i wandered through my playing cards
And would not let her be
One of sixteen vestal virgins
Who were leaving for the coast
And although my eyes were open
They might have just as well've been closed
She said, 'i'm home on shore leave,'
Though in truth we were at sea
So i took her by the looking glass
And forced her to agree
Saying, 'you must be the mermaid
Who took neptune for a ride.'
But she smiled at me so sadly
That my anger straightway died
If music be the food of love
Then laughter is its queen
And likewise if behind is in front
Then dirt in truth is clean
My mouth by then like cardboard
Seemed to slip straight through my head
So we crash-dived straightway quickly
And attacked the ocean bed
